Yesterday the Vale Rio moved to it's (hopefully) temporary site at the intersection of Nutt Road and Starr Street.

I just had the chance to look and they are spectacular pictures, Mark!
This slideshow is great! I was working yesterday and disappointed I missed the move. These pictures make you feel as if you were there all the way!

I also offer thanks for the slide show. However, looking at the site where it used to be, and the site where it is now, I now hold out less hope for a future re-opening.
If I had possession of a 60-year old piece of history, I'd certainly be treating it better than tossing it in the mud in my backyard.
I hope that Mr. Puleo is true to his word.
