Drucker to host job fair March 31
In partnership with the PA Department of Labor and Industry, I will host a "We're Hiring" Job Fair from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 at the Phoenixville Civic Center, 123 Main St. in Phoenixville.
The job fair, which will coincide with March, April and May for Focus on Jobs months, will include a resume writing workshop and job hunting seminar.
Employers who are actively hiring in the following industries are confirmed to be on-hand:
· Human Services
· Retail/Restaurant
· Non-Profit
· Healthcare
· Insurance
· Financial Services
· Early Childhood Education
Employers from various additional industries are also expected to be in attendance. The event will also feature job opportunities for veterans. Admission is free and business attire is encouraged. For more information about this, or any state-related issue, please contact me.

Good idea, but it's only for the unemployed? Many people are employed and looking, but can't attend from 2-5. Could they extend the hours to 6 or 7?

To Anonymous, we certainly did not mean to exclude people who are currently working. Our office will look into extending the hours, and will post back here when there is an update. Thank you for the comment.
