The Historical Society of the Phoenixville Area announces that a new exhibit is opening at their museum on First Friday, March 4, 2011 from 6 - 9 PM: The museum is located at 204 Church Street in Phoenixville. Light refreshments will be served.
"Behind the Wooden Door: Secret Societies in the Land of the Phoenix"
Featuring secret documents written by initiated scribes, and ceremonial clothing and weapons of:
The International Order of Odd Fellows
The Knights of the Golden Eagle
The Freemasons
The exhibit will be ongoing through June 2011. Check HSPA's web-site www.hspa-pa.org for days and hours.
