Hi Karen,
Just a reminder of the Kiwanis Christmas Parade on Friday December 3, 2010 at 7pm.
Santa will be escorted into town by area fire trucks decorated with lights and some of Santa's good friends. Among those friends are the Mouses (Mickey and Minnie), Donald Duck and Goofy, Elmo, Kermit, Bert & Ernie, Barney, Winnie the Pooh, The Cat in the Hat, Shrek, Spiderman, Cinderella, Snow White, Tinkerbell, and a host of Santa's elves.
After the parade on the 100-200 & 300 block of Bridge Street, Santa will light the Christmas tree at Renaissance Park. After the tree lighting people can take pictures of their children with the costumed characters.
Everyone attending the parade should bring a canned or non-perishable food item to place on the PACS float to help the needy people in our area.
Santa will make his way to his Santa House at the top of the Kiwanis Children's Plaza.
Santa will be at his Santa House on weekends before Christmas. His schedule is posted at the house.
Dress warm and come out for a great night. The parade starts promptly at 7:00pm.
It is the best 1/2 hour parade in Chester County!
