Annual Irish Festival at St. Michael's Picnic Grounds this weekend

Irish Fest is this weekend


The AOH will host its Annual Irish Festival this Weekend June 6, 7 and 8 at the Saint Michael's Picnic Grounds in Mont Clare. That's just outside of Phoenixville.
All proceeds of this event will help provide funds for the AOH Charities that help support the community. A free entrance night will take place on Friday with entertainer Oliver McElone. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday there will be a $6 donation at the gate. Food, beverage, vendors and children's activities will also be provided. And for those who take a liken to throwing Horse Shoes there will be a tournament on Saturday and Sunday starting at 1 p.m.

Non-stop music will begin on Saturday at noon with Fisher and Maher and will continue until 9 p.m. Paddy's Well and Burning Bridget Cleary also will be on stage on Saturday. Gates open at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday opens with an outdoor Mass at 10:30 a.m. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. After Mass, Tom McHugh and Company will take the stage followed by The Pointe and Bogside Roughs. Irish
